Held Say VowsWAKEFIELD - Miss Debra Held, Wakefield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Held, Wausau, Wis., became the bride of Raymond Luoma, White [ Pine, son of Mrs. Ann Puumula,: Wakefield, and the late William Luoma, Saturday, Oct. 4. i The Rev. B. Neil Smith offi-' dated at the 3 p.m. service at | Christ the King Catholic ' Church, Ramsay. The bride’s father gave her in marriage.She wore a gown of white imported silk organza combined with cluny lace. Her fitted high rise bodice with choker neckline and slim tapered lace sleeves was enhanced by a ruffled cluny lace yoke. The floor length A-| line skirt flared to a cathedral length train and a wide band | of lace encircled the hemline.Her elbow length veil was secured by a headpiece of lace petals to match her dress. She carried a bouquet of white roses, miniature blue carnations and baby’s breath accented with | trailing ivy.Mrs. Dennis Augustine was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. William Luoma and | Mrs. Eugene Mattila. They wore hand-fashioned blue floral floor length gowns trimmed with old-fashioned lace. They wore matching blue ribbons in their hair.Roger Pekuri was best man. Groomsmen were Randy Held and William Luoma. Ray Hardt* and Eugene Mattila were ushers.A reception was held at the Bessemer Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall and a rehearsal dm-1 ner at the home cf the bridegroom's parents.The bride is a graduate of j Wausau West High School. The bridegroom graduated fromi Wakefield High School and j Michigan Technological Univer-1 sity, Houghton, with a degree in mechanical engneerng. He is employed by White Pine Copper Co. They will make their home at White Pine after a honeymoon in northern Michigan and Canada.Guests were from Wausau, j and Oshkosh, Wis.; Ely and Minneapolis, Minn.; Hancock,: White Pine and area communities.MRS.
