Miss Mary Caka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Caka of Shiner, and Rudolph Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wagner of Moulton, were married Tuesday, September, 23, at theShiner Catholic Church, Rev. J .J. Hanacek reading the ceremony.Witnesses were Joe Caka and Johnnie Wagner.Bridesmaids were: Miss Della Wagner, Miss Bessie Wagner,Miss Marie Barta, Miss Catherine Vincek, Miss Lillian Wagner, Miss Frances Caka, Miss Agnes Zissa and Miss Lillie Caka. Their escorts were; Ed-rnund Caka, Daniel Brom, Edward Caka, Gilbert Schroed'r, Emil Charba, Herman Jurica, Bennie Maloch and Daniel Zissa.A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents. A dance at KokernotGrove concluded the wedding festivities.The bride had betn employed at the Wagner Hospital in Shiner for the past four years. The groom spent 38 monthsin the service of Uncle Sam inWorld War II, 30 months inthe European theater of operations.The young couple will make Shiner their home.
