Ifor tha ceremony, which was performed hr Rev. J. J. Treadwell, the coupl* stood beneath a white wedding bell* suspended beneath an archery at green. The bridesmaids were Misses Irene Harvey and Gladys Smith, and the beet men were Norman Berry and Emery Ashton, The ushers were Arnold Dilzer and Willie Newell. '\\The bride was attired in White, eharmeuse with rose point lace and: bridal roses were carried. The bridesmaids wore pink crepe de chine and carried white carnations. The ring bearer was little Miss Laura Bell Kite, who was attired in a white lace dress,Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The house wa» decorated in pink and white, which carried out the color scheme, pink and white ice cream and cake heir® served.After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Ashton were driven to Daytona, from wftieh city they took a train yesterday morning for Jacksonville and will sail from the metropolis today on board the steamer Huron for Charleston, 'S. C. After a visit in tfhis city they will return to Savannah. Ga., where they will spend several days with relatives of Mrs.’ Ashton, and then visit other points before returning to New Smyrna. They oxpect to be gone about two weeks.Upon their return they will be at home at Mrs. Riley’s.
