THE DAILY REGISTER, HDillard, Walter exchange vowsMiss Beth Ann Dillard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Dillard of Rt. 45, Carrier Mills, became the bride of Charles Dale Walter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walter of 19 W. Lincoln St.,Hamburg on Aug. 6 at 3 p.m.The Rev. Joe Daniels performed the double ring ceremony at the Friend Street Church of God, Carrier Mills. The altar was decorated with spiral candelabra with votive candles andtrimmed with peach collt; The pews were marked bows.ine bnde, given in marriage by her parents, chose a floor length wedding gown designed by Alessandro. The skirt was organza over taffeta and the bodice was Chantilly lace with seed pearls fashioned with a Queen Ann neckline, bishop shadow sleeves over Chantilly lace and a Chantilly lace peplin. Her fingertip veil of Chantilly lace, designed by Mori Lee, was trimmed with seed pearls.She carried a pearl Bible brought from Israel by her parents. Her bridal bouquet was of rosebuds, daisies and stephanotis with white streamers tied in lover’s knots.Mrs. Cindy Allen, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a peach colored chiffon over taffeta gown designed with a high neck, drop shoulder and Chantilly lace ruffles.Bridesmaids were Cindy Dillard, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jean Turner. They were dressed identical to the matron of honor.Valerie Wells was flower girl. Shewore a peach lace over taffeta gown with a corsage of white rosebuds and a white hat. She carried a white lace basket with peach carnation petals.Jim Alvey of Charleston was best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Dillard, brother of the bride, and Mike Walter, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Jeff Dillard and Mike Walter.The bridegroom wore a champagne8.Phillip and Paula Partin of Omaha are the parents of a baby boy, who was bom at Harrisburg Medical Center Oct.6 and weighed 5 pounds, 11** ounces. Hewas named James Iiee. Maternal grandparents are Paul Zirkelbach of Equality and Lodena Nelson of Carmi.Paternal grandparents are James andEunice Partin of Karbers Ridge. His boutonniere was a peach colored rose. The other men in the wedding party wore champagne coloredtuxedoes with peach shirts and peachcolored carnation boutonnieres.Aaron Allen, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. He was dressed like Hie men in the wedding party.The bride’s mother chose a rose gown of taffeta with accordian pleats in sheer. Mrs. Walter chose an aqua Qiana gown with a sheer crepe cape.Mrs. Peggy Overstreet accompanied Mrs. Joni Hosman as she sang “The Wedding Song,” and “When I Fall In Love,” and Jim Alvey as he sang, “The Lord’s Prayer.A reception was held immediately following the wedding in the Carrier Mills municipal building. The bride's table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake decorated with daisies with peach colored centers and topped with the traditional miniature bride and bridegroom.Hostesses were Tina Ellis, Lisa McCuan and Jodi Walter, all sisters ofthe bridegroom.The new Mrs Walter is a 1982 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education. Mr. Walter has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and isemployed as an engineer by Sargent and Ijndy in Chicago.Following a wedding trip to French IJck, Ind., the couple resides in Chicago.A rehearsal dinner was held at the First Christian Church and was hostedby the bridegroom’s parents.Out-of-town guests attending the wedding and reception were: Mrs Verna Dillard, grandmother of the bride from Eldorado; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Dale Hobson from Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Woodrum and daughter, Janet, Dr and Mrs. JKrank Gossett, Ms. tleneva Walter, Mrs. Ramona Herring and Mr.anil Mrs. Warren Thomas and son, Kent, all of Indiana; Mr and Mrs. William Walter, Missouri; Ms Donna Walter, New York; Mrs Cary (Sandra) Reichard, Florida
