Adelaide Sedlacekand Wesley Jiras areMarried WednesdayIn the rectory of St. Wenceelaus church, -Miss Adelaide Sedlacek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Sedlacek of near Oxford, became the bride of Mr. Wesley W. Jiras, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jiras of near North Liberty last Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, with the Rev. A, L. Panoch reading the marriage ceremony.Wearing a frock of amber-toned georgette and narmonizing accessories, the bride wore a corsage of Joan Hill roses. Her single attendant was Miss Tillie Jiras, the bridegroom’s sister, who was attired in grown flat crepe. She carried talisman roses. Mr. Edward Sedlacek, a brother of the bride, served Mr. Jiras as best man.A 5 o’clock reception was held for the couple at the home of the bride’s parents Wednesday afternoon and the wedding party enjoyed a dancing party at Cou Falls in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Jiras will make their home on a farm in Madison township.
