Pansh of th'e' Iowa State Normal at Gedar Palls, was celebrated at ther home of the bride's parents, 602 South street, Tuesday evening at 8:15- Rev. W. IT. Rollins/ pastor of. the, Congregational church, read the ceremony; which was witnessed by only ihe relatives and a* few inti rn ate friends..The home was taatefully decorated inautiimri leaves and flowers; The bride was prettily, attired in a:gown of white silk. / After . profuse congratulations .had been showered upon the young couple a bountiful wedding supper was served in the dining room under the ■supervision, of Miss Mariam Davidson, j the bride's sister/-. . ^ „The young people are • well, and fav- • or ably'-known in Waterloo and •.Cedar, 1 Fall s. The bride attended Oberhn col-lege for one year and was also a student at the Tow a State Normal school. The groom/^who is the only son of Prof. and ■Mrs. Parish, is a graduate of the Iowa . State Normal and last year completed his.course^at the Iowa State University; ’having received* the degree of Ph. D. He isrtoe'ofvthe assistants of the political science department and during the ■past year-has been ^connected- with theIowa Historical Society. _ _•Dr. and Mrs, Parish will sail for Europe. where he will spend .a year m Paris- and Spain in special researchwork. ’ , • , . ,The out-of-town guests at the wedding- were Prof. and Mrs. W.
