Katie, was married to j Mr. J. S. McDowell, also of Midland. The Rev. R. D. Simpson conducted the ceremony, only immediate friends and relatives being present. The bride was given away by her j lather. She wore a princess gown of silk mull, with embroidered panel and trimmings of Valenciennes lace. I and maltose insertion. Little Miss Marjorie Piggott, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Mr. Russell Scott was best man..
