Wed In Candlelight CeremonyMR, AND MRS, JOHN WALTER MORGART multicolor floral print onAltar flowers, pew bows, and ferns with candles on the window-sills completed the setting in the Grace United Church of Christ, Manns Choice, for the wedding of Miss Vickie Lee Diehl, daughter of Blaine and Mary Louise Diehl, Manns Choice RD 1, and Mr. John Walter Morgart, son of Clair and Amy Louise Morgart of Bedford RD 4.The Rev. George Butz officiated at the double ring, candlelight service, Sept. 6, at 6:30 p.m. with wedding selections provided by organist Robert Horn.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length gown of ivory lutesong, trimmed with Venice lace and seed pearls. The empire bodice was designed with a v-neckline and full-length sleeves edged with lace and pearls, The gown featured an A-line skirt edged in lace and pearls and a chapel length train.The Camelot cap of Venice lace and seed pearls held a double tier of shoulder-length silk illusion. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white gardenias, white and apricot roses, stephanotis and baby's breath, with hanging pit-tisforum,As she was escorted to the altar, the bride gave one red rose to her mother, and gave another to the mother of the bridegroom, after nuptial vows were exchanged.Miss Cathy Fletcher of Bedford, friend °f the bride, served as maid of honor. She wore a full-length gown offlocked dacron over blue crepe. She carried a colonial bouquet of white daisies, blue tinted sweetheart roses, apricot miniature carnations and baby's breath.All gowns (or the wedding ceremony wqre made by the bride's mother,Mr. Gary Redinger of Bedford, ,friend of the bridegroom, served as best man.The reception was held atthe American Legion, Bedford. Miss Lisa Diehl, sister of the bride, was guest book attendant.After a wedding trip to Altoona, the newlyweds are at home in Somerset.The bride, a 1974 graduate of Bedford High School, is attending Somerset Area School of Practical Nursing, The bridegroom also attended Bedford High School and is employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
