Miss Dunn Wed Saturday At DeerfieldThe altar of Grace Lutheran Church, Deerfield, was decorated with arrangements of purple mums for the wedding of Miss Barbara Ann Dunn, daughter of Lawrence Dunn of Hancock, and the late Mrs. Dunn, and Edward Makaryk Jr., son of Mr, and Mrs. Edward Madaryk Sr. of Almond.The Rev. Emil Holtzen, Lutheran Minister of Wautoma, and the Rev. Irvin Bowers, minister of the Plainfield Assembly of God of Plainfield, officiated for the marriage rites held Saturday at 2:30 p.m.Susan Bohn and Louann Bohn both presided at the organ during the marriage service and the soloist was Wayne Salter.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, selected a floor length gown with train of white organza over taffeta. The bodice was softly gathered at the waistline to an A-line skirt, The butterfly sleeves were long and the neckline was sabrina style. The entire gown was covered with sequin flowers. A double crown of aurora borealis held her double net shoulder length veil. She carried a traditional bouquet of white poms and ivy centered with a purple orchid.Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Wilbur Jones, cousin of the bride, of Madison. Bridal aides were Miss Debra Tibbie, cousin of the groom of Harvey, 111.; and Mrs. David Renner of Williams Bay. Michelle Tibbie of Harvey, was a flower girl. They wore orchid floor length gowns. The empire style bodices had long full sleeves with deep cuffs and rolled collars. They wore fresh flower circlets of baby’s breath and poms in their hair and each carried a single long stemmed yellow rose with green velvet leaves.Myron Tibbie Jr. of Harvey, Dl., cousin of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Norman Kemnitz of Westfield, cousin of the bride, and Michael Urban. Ushers were Kenneth Kemnitz of Berlin and Edward Leavitt of Plainfield.A dinner and reception for 200 guests was held at 4:30 p.m. at the Hancock Community Hall. The wedding cake was made by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Willard Mosolf of Princeton.The newlyweds spent their honeymoon at Minneapolis, Minn., and will live in Hancock.The groom graduated from the Wild Rose High School and attended The North Central Bible College at Minneapolis, Minn, for two years. He is presently employed at theMrs. MakarykJames Burns Farms at Almond.The bride was graduated from Tri-County Area High School, Plainfield. She is employed as a medicare billing clerk at Wautoma Memorial Hospital.Guests attended the wedding from Wautoma, .Almond, Wild Rose, Hancock, Westfield, Madison, Plainfield, Wisconsin Rapids and Illinois.Prior to her wedding, the bride was honored at four miscelleanous showers hosted by Mrs. Rolland Jones and Mrs. Howard Simenson at Hancock: by the ladies Assembly of God of Plainfield, and by Mrs. Michael Urban at Almond. The ladies of the Wautoma Memorial Hospital gave a shower followed by a dinner at Silver Cryst Resort by the office staff at the hospital.
