Liftke - HetflerExchange VowsA double ring ceremony took place at Grace United Church, Waimvrlght on September 4, 1964 at 2:30 p.m. United In marriage were Patricia Lillian Hettler and Norman Henry Lit-tke.The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor-length gown of while nylon sheer over taffeta, highlighted by white lace, flowers on neckline and flowers and bows down the front of her dress, accented by illy point sleeves. A lovely shoulder-length veil was sot off by a big white rose for her crown. She carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses.The bride’s attendants were Mrs. Marlene Thurn, sister of the bride, as matron of honor. She wore a blue lace waltz length gown with a miniature headpiece of the bride. Her bouquet of pink and white lily of the valley flowers were accented with white accessories. The bridesmaids, Miss Evelyn Littke, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Helen Brink, sister-in-law of tho bride, chose pink waltz length gowns of lace and miniature headpiece of the bride. They carried pink and white lily of the valley flowers, accented by white accessories.The groom’s attendants were Mr. Tom Thurn, brother-in-law of the bride, Mr. Roger Littke, brother of the groom, and Mr. Willis Brink, brother of the bride.For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Hettler chose a two piece dress of brocade in aqua with white accessories, and a corsage of white roses. The groom’s mother chose a two piece suit of light blue with white accessories, and a corsage of white roses.A reception was held at the Canadian Legion Hall, which was nicely decorated by the Legion Ladies, who catered to the reception.
