Mr. and Mrs.The marriage of Miss LyettaPursell, Greencastle R. 3, andFied L. Await of Mt. Vernon, 111., was solemnized Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Fill-more Methodist church.The bride is the daughter oft Mr. and Mrs. Raymond R. Pursell, Greencastle R. 3, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Await of Ashland, 111.The Rev. Stork read the vows of the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with two baskets of large white mums and palms and lighted by candelabra.The brkle, given in marriageby her father, wore a waltz length gown of lace over taffeta with a finger-tip veil. She carried a colonial arrangement of white mums and stephanotis.Miss Barbara Fuller, the maidof honor, wore a dirk green taf-I feta sheath dress with an over-| skirt of matching net and carried a colonial arrangement of red and bronze mums. The can lieI lighters were Diana and Peggy Await, nieces of the bridegroom. They wore light green taffeta| dresses.| Wdliam Await was best man.: Ushers were Ralph Pursell and Charles Roach.Mrs. Pursell wore a navy blue•red L. Awaitdress with copcn accessories anda corsage of rust red baby mums.The bridegroom’s mother was attired in a blue sapphire crepe dress with navy accessories. Her corsage was of yellow baby mums.Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the Recreation Building of the church. Assisting were, Karen Quinn. Kirlene Tomlin, Springfield, 111; Beverly Graves of Cleveland, Ohio; Barbara Stanley of Crawfordsville.The couple left on a short wedding trip. For traveling the bride chose a two piece tan jersey dress with brown accessories.They will reside at 407 S. 24thSt., Mt. Vernon, 111.The bride is a graduate of theGreencastle high school and theMemorial Hospital School ofNursing, Springfield, HI., and willbe employed at the Jefferson Co. Memorial Hospital in Mt.A.Vernon. The bridegroom graduated from the Morton HighSchool in Cicero, 111., and theUniversity of Illinois and is employed with the Soil Conservation Service in Mt.
