Hong-TestinoLauren Kathaleen Testino of Wilson and Tyler Fulghum Hong of Sims were married June 21 in a 3 p.m. ceremony at the Edna Boykin Cultural Arts Center. The Rev. Barbara High Tyre and Mark Woolard officiated.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Testino of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony R. Testino of High Point and Sally B. Johnston of Bath and the late John A. Johnston Jr. She graduated fromJames B. Hunt High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in elementary education and a minor in music. She is a first-grade teacher with Wilson CountySchools.The groom is the son of Tony Hong of Lumberton and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Woodard of Sims. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sang Hong of Hanoi, Vietnam; and Mary Annette Fulghum of Sims and the late Richard Fulghum. He graduated from JamesB. Hunt High School and North Carolina State University with a degree in applied mathematics.He is a senior insurance technical analyst with the State Employees' Credit Union.The bride was escorted by her father. Maid of honor was Mil-licent Jean Davis of Sims. Bridesmaids were Anna Johnson-Guse of Washington, D.C.; Mary Catherine Hardison of Sims; Erin Helen O'Leary of Annapolis, Maryland; and Caroline Harden Rives of Wilmington.Best man was Bryant Nelms Glover of Wilson. Groomsmen were Cole Stoiber of Wilson, Robert Strickland III of Bailey, Zach Suddreth of Wilson and John Anthony Testino of Wilson.A reception hosted by the bride’s family in Hammond Gallery of the Edna Boykin Cultural Arts Center followed the ceremony.On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents were hosts for a rehearsal dinner at Something Different.
