Leaders ,Rabley Vows ExchangedCAMBRIA — Peggy Ann Leaders and Michael Kurt Rabley were married in the First lYesbytenan Church, Hillsdale Pastor Herbert Amala performed the afternoon double ring rites before an altar decorated with palms and vases of white gladioli and carnations in shades of pink, green, yellow, blue and lavender. linda Daglow played a prelude of organ music, and soloist was Martha Benge.The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a floor-length gown of organza over taffeta fashioned with an Empire styled waistline, mandarin collar and Juliet sleeves. The gown and long chapel train were accented with Venise lace. She wore a lace trimmed mantilla headpiece with a floor-length veil of illusion, and £ie carried a cascade of carnations and chrysanthemums tinted rainbow colors to match the attendants’ flowers.Barbara Leaders was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a gown of lavender flowered dotted of sheer nylonover taffeta. Ruffles accented the long full sleeves, rounded neckline and skirt hemline, and they were edged with lace. She carried a bouquet of lavender pompons and she wore a wide brimmed hat of lavender with matching ribbons and daisies.Bridemaids were Margie Barr, linda Collins, (lay Fowler and Janice leaders, sister of the bride. Their gowns, hats, and bouquets were identical to that of the maid of honor, but in colors of pink, green, blue and yellow respectively.The flower girls were Heather Iee and Nancy Sue Wiseman. Their orange gowns were fashioned after those of the other attendants. Aaron Ash was ring bearer.Bill Pridgeon was best man and attendants were Ken Burger, Paul Hawkins, Rick Mason and Pat Dodge. Ushers were Dennis Smith and David Leaders, brother of the bride.The reception was held in the Baw Beese American LegionClub for 225 guests. The pastel colors of the wedding were used in decorations. Mrs. Georgia Smith served the buffet dinner and the wedding cake was made by Mrs. Velma Lemke and Mrs. Clayton Leaders. Mrs. Keith Behm registered the guests and the bridesmaids assisted with the uifts. Refreshments were served by Gladys Lemke, Velina U‘inki, Mrs. David Coders and Cindy Behm.The rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the bridegroom at Savarino’s Dining Room. Prenuptial parties were given by Delores Robarge, Jean Wiseman, Rita Karnes, Dorthea leaders and Bonnie leaders, aunts of thebride, and by (lay Flower and linda Collinslhe bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton leaders of rte. 2, Hillsdale. She was graduated from Reading High School in 1971 and attended Western Michigan University She is a secretary at the Health Clinic in Mt. Pleasant The bridegroom is the son of George Rabley of Hillsdale and Berniece Rabley of Montgomery. He was graduated from Reading High School in 1970 and is a Junior at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant.The couple took a wedding trip to Canada.
