They wore white carnation boutonnieres.Mrs. Simmons chose a royal blue nylon dress with white accessories for her daughter's wredding. Mrs Farr chose a green jersey dress with black accessaries.The reception was held in the church basement immediately following the ceremony, with 70 guests attending.The serving table was covered with a gold lace cloth over white and was scattered wdth gold and white roses. It was centered with a 'lure .tier cake decorated wuth white roses and gold leaves and topped with a bride and groom standing in a heart,Mrs. Lynn Castle and Mrs. Joe Schadt, aunt of the groom, cut the cake, Mrs. Ralph Gholson. aunt of the groom, poured punch and Mrs. Gerald Jones, aunt of the bride, poured coffee. Mrs. C. C. Craig, aunt of the bride, was in charge of the kitchen.Mrs. Pat. Krogmeier, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book and Shirley Schadt and Judy Gholson, cousins of the groom, cared for the gifts.For her going away outfit, the bride chose a three piece brown knit dress, with a corsage of carnations.Mr. and Mrs. Farr are at home at 900 S. Walnut. They are both graduates of the Mt. Pleasant high school. Mrs. Farr is a linotype operator at the Mt, Pleasant News and ! Mr. Farr is employed at Blue Bird Midwest.Out of town guests were from Ft. Madison. Winfield, Wayland, Lock-ridge, Olds, and Wheeling. 111.
