North Terrace Church Of Christ Setting For Russi-Mercer Marriage CeremonyMRS. FREDERIC WILLIAM RL'SSI (Betsy Jane Mercer)In North Terrace Church of Christ Miss Betsy Jane Mercer and Frederic William Russi of 1095 Greenwood avenue were married at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The double ring vows were exchanged before Frederick Albrecht of the New Marshfield Church of Christ.The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Mercer of 2447 Marion avenue, was given in marriage by her father. She was attired in a floor length white taffeta gown, styled with a fmed bodice, pointed in front and back The sabrina neckline was trimmed with lace and sequins. The long sleeves tapered to points, and a sequin-trimmed bow added back interest to the skirt.A crown of lace and pearls held her fingertip veil of illusion. The bridal bouquet was a cascade of white roses and ivyMrs Robert White of Mc-Connelsville was matron of honor. She was gowned in a gold crystal peau sheath and wore a matching pillbox hat with a pouf illusion veil Her flowers were bronze pompons in cascade arrangement.Identically styled ensembles of emerald green were worn by the bridesmaids. Mrs. James Miezbiski and Mrs, James Deal Each earned a cascade of gold pompons.Attending the bridegroom was John Mooriield. Richard Bridwell and William Mercer, brother of the bride, were ushers.Guests at the reception at Hall's Brown Cow Restaurant following the ceremony were served by Mrs. William Van Allen, sister of the bride; Mrs. William Factor. Mrs. Floyd Komaromy, Mrs. William Mercer and Mrs. James Mercer.The couple will reside at 1095 Greenwood avenue when they return from a week's trip over the Skyline drive.The former Miss Mercer is a member of the church in which she was married. She attended Ohio UniversityBranch and Meredith Business College and is employed as a cashier at General Finance and Discount Company.The bridegroom is a rural letter carrier for the Zanesville Post Office. He attendedOhio State and Ohio Universities and is a member of the Masonic Lodge. YMCA, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars, of which he serves as secretary.
