THE BOONE NEWS BfPUBLIf ANWednesdoy, October 4, 1961Miss Donna DeForest And Daniel L.Corrick United In MarriageIn the chanel of the First Methodist Church In Des Moines, Saturday evening, September 2nd at 7 o’clock. Miss Donna De Forest and Daniel L. Corrick, were united in marriage. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Shirley Boren of Des Moines and M'Sgt. Donald De Forest of Amarillo, Texas. The bridegroom is the youngest son of Mrs. Inez D, Corrick of Boone and the late Ray Corrick,Mrs. A1 Wilson, aunt of the bride, served as matron of honor and Dr. W, G. Dennert, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, attended him as best man. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev Donald Corrick of Des Moines, brother of the bridegroom.The bride wore a beige linen suit with dark beige accessories and a corsage of white carnations and apricot - blended miniature roses.The matron of honor wore abrown silk crepe dress with beige accessories and a corsage of vellow roses.The bride’s mother chose a dark green floral chiffon with light green accessories for her daughter’s wedding. The bridegroom’s mother wore a teal blue crepe dress with beige accessories and both mothers had a corsage of yellow roses.After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother for the wedding guests and a few friends.Mrs. Corrick is a graduate of Lincoln High School, Des Moines, and Amarillo Junior College of Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Corrick was graduated from Boone High School with the class of 1955 and attended Boone Junior College. He plans to enter Drake University in January to complete his college work. Both Mr. and Mrs. Corrick are employed in Des Moines and are residing at 650 - 63rd street.
