Ralph MmRw OfldatM at Marriage of Miss Vhrgkria Siler ut | Melvin Alteriirgw Tuesday —Following Motor Trip Through South, Couple to Reside hi Delphos.: Miss Virginia Siler, daughter ofMr. and Mrs. Ralph Siler, OttoviUe,was united in marriage to Melvin Air ltenburger, 534 East Jackson street, in j a pretty ceremony performed at 8:15 j i a. m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ralph Muel-1 ler was celebrant of the nuptial high i ! mass which was read at immaculate j Conception church in Ottoville. The j single ring ceremony was used. Large bouquets of gladioli were arrangedon the church altars and at the entrance to the sanctuary.' The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and jMrs. Fred Altenburger, EastJackson street. jMiss Mary Catherine Siler, of Li- j nn.a, was her sister’s only attendant ' while Albert Louth, of this city, a friend of the bridal couple, acted as ' best man.The bride was becomingly attired j i in a street length frock of blue chiffon j velvet styled with a heart- {taped ne: k line. Two brilliant clips were arranged i at the neckline and a deep row cfj shirring marked the waistline. There! waa shirring down the center of the :I short, puff sleeves. With the gown,! (TFT. bride wore all attractive hat Of fmatching felt trimmed w ith a quill.! Her slippers were in the same made and she wore a shoulder corsage of j Talisman roses.A frock of Burgundy velvet, fashioned quite similar to that of the bride, v;as worn by the maid of honor. Her accessories corresponded with her frock and she had a shoulder corsage of Talisman roses.At 10: id a. m.. a wedding breakfast for members of the bridal party was i served at the Siler home. A reception ! for relatives and friends was heldthe »e at 1:00 p. m.The collide left on a motor trip through the South.I The bride is a graduate of OttoviUe i high sc xl, (ass of ’35 and Mr. Alien-■' larger graduated from St. John’s with J Shut (’lass of ’32.
