Mr. George Long and Miss Sailie Spears, 01' North Salem, were married at . the Christian Church, of that place, on last Sundav afternoon, at 3:30, Elder U, C, Brewer, officiating. Alter the ceremony, some twenty or more invited guests repaired to the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis K. Spears, where a most elegant repast was served. The bride and groom received the congratulations of many friends and passed the evening in a social manner after which the company dispersed. This office was treated Xo some very delicious samples of the bill of fare for supper, for which we return sincere thanks. The bride and groom were attended by Mr.A#August Meyer and wife. Among those present from a distance, were W. H. Me* Phetridge, Chas. Emmons, Milton J. Me-Phetridge and wile, Danville; W. H* Long and family, Ladoga; W. H. Cross and family, Kainbridge; B. F. Wren and wife, Miss Hattie Atkinson, Lebanon; Mr. Jno. Fleece and family, N. E. Jennings and wife, 1 au/-suwn. Many Handsome and appropriate gifts were presented the newly wedded pair, who will proceed at once to housekeeping.
