Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pavlich of La Vernia, Texas, proudly announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Caylin Fay, to Drew Lawrence Herley, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Herley of La Vernia. Caylin is the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Nancy Pavlich, formerly of San Antonio, and Betty Watkins of San Antonio. Drew is the grandson of Ross and Mary Scull of La Vernia and the late Joseph and Margaret Herley, formerly of San Antonio. The bride-to-be is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in interdisci plinary studies with teacher cer tification in secondary science. She plans to graduate from Texas AM _ University-Kingsville in December. She is currently a student teacher with the Harlandale Independent School District. The prospective groom earned an associates degree from Palo Alto College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Texas AM University- Kingsville in San Antonio. He is currently employed with CPS Energy in San Antonio. The couple plan to marry on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, in the First Baptist Church of Floresville. The couple plan to reside in La Vernia.
