Howard-Billberry Vows Spoken Here RecentlyMrs. Tony Lamar BillberryMiss Marsha Kim Howard and Mr, Tony Lamar Billberry, both of Dubach, were wed Sept. 19 in the Mineral Springs Baptist Church.The Rev. Norman Tillberry officiated at the ceremony.The bride, given in marriage by her father, was dressed in a gown of formal white satin and lace with sheer sleeves and a satin brocade rose on the lace trimmed bodice. Her veil of illusion and floor length lace train feel from a head piece of white satin in the form of a bow.She carried a bouquet of white and blue carnations.Brenda Dilke Nolan was the Matron of Honor with Renea Howard serving as Maid of Honor.Their gowns of blue printed dotted swiss featured a square neckline and short puff sleeves. The sleeves and bodice were lace trimmed. Blue straw hats and a single blue carnation completed their outfits.Bridesmaids were Miss Connie Brabham, Miss Julie Russ, Miss Pam Wells and Miss Ellie Bogard, all of Ruston.Will Billberry, brother of the groom, was the Best Man.Groomsmen and fishers were Kenny Cook, Rodney Howard, brother of the bride, Tommy Simmons, Ted Barm ore, Fred Barmore, Ferrell Martin, all of Mineral Springs.Little Candy Howard, niece of the bride, was the flower girl with Barry Haynes, Jr, as ringbearer.Candle lighters were Renee Richard and Phyllis Moon. Handing out the rice bags were Jeannie Goodwin, Doris Rogers and Janie Fitzgerald.Hosts for the reception following the ceremony were the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thornton S Billberry of Dubach, also Mrs. Virginia Leu he, Mrs. Ronnie Frisby and Mrs. Myrtis Franklin.Nuptial music was provided by Miss Renee Martin of Huston.The new Mrs. Billberry is a graduate of Ruston High School and attends Ixmisiana Tech.Following a wedding I rip to Dallas, Texas, the couple will make their home in Lincoln Parish.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rufo Howard of Dubach and Mr. and Mrs.Thornton S. The bride wore a checked pantsuit for the party.
