Dr. Bland Sutton, president, said.4ME1UCAN FALLS - Nyla Lu-• anne Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson of American Falls, and Derrdt James Savage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Savage of Aberdeen, were united in marriage in the Salt Lake LDS temple Friday.Temple official El Ray Christiansen officiated at the double ring ceremony.Accompanying the cou pic through the temple ceremonies were the bride's mother, Mrs. William Johnson, her sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Les Henderson of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Liza Johnson of Centerville, Utah, and Mrs. Clarence Reeder of Bountiful, Utah.The newlyweds were feted at a wedding reception and dance in the recreation hall of the American Falls LDS church Saturday.The bride was gowned in a dress of white satin with Insets of tulle and lace In the skirt. The bodice of lace over satin was fashioned with a scalloped neckline, end the sleeves ended in pointed wristlets. Her veil of nylon Illusion, fed from a pearl tiara.Lavender pompoms mode up the bride’s bouquet, Bridal attendants were the bride's school friends, Ann Stanger, gowned in a lime green afternoon frock, and Susan Fames, wearing a plum afternoon dress. Pole yellow pompoms made up their bouquets.The flower girl was Donna Savage, Aberdeen, sister of the bridegroom. She wore an orchid bull-erlna-length dress.Best man. was L. S. Henderson, brother-in-law of the bride.Mrs. Johnson, tbs bride's mother. wore a melon rose nvlon iersevafternoon dress, fashioned with a pleated skirt and black accessories. Mrs. Savage, mother of tha bridegroom, wore a navy crepe, afternoon dress with pink accessories. Both mothers had white chrysanthemum corsages.Hernia Johnson, the bride'* brother, was master of ceremonies at the reception. Donna Savaga was in charge of the guest book, and gift room assistants were Karen Eamcs, Sharon Diirfee, Helen Ann Hartley and Ramona Swira.Mrs. Beth Schow, Mrs. Je$3# Meadows, and Mrs. P. M. Johnson of Ogden served refreshment* from a table decorated witii autumn flowers.During the program Mrs. Lyl* Anderson and daughter, Dana Lee* performed an acrobatic dance* Mrs. Mel Koompin and Mr*. Rutft Heer sang a duet. Newell Niabaui and Ellen Faye Hunt sang #olofc DavJd Polage and AletZ Hunt played musical number*.The couple left for a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone park. For tha trip, the bride wore a royal blue suit with black accessories,The new Mrs. Savage is a graduate of American Falls high school. She recently has been employed at the Hotel Newhouse in Sait Lake City.The. bridegroom attended Aberdeen High school and is now a second lieutenant in tha Array. Tha couple will reside in Fori Ord, California, where Savag* la now stationed.
