COHEN-LIBERM AN WEDDING IN TUCSONIn an impressive, colorful, formal, evening candle-light ceremony Miss Lee Cohen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Cohen, Coolidge, became the bride of Sigmund Liberman of Seattle, Wash., at Congregation Anshei Israel, onSept. 7th.Rabbi Marcus Breger performed the ceremony before an altar decorated with palms, candelabra, white gladioli. On each pew were bouquets tied with white satin ribbon.Approaching the altar on thearm of her father, the bride wore a colonial period gown of ivory satin which she had designed. Her gown was fashioned with an off the shoulder neckline, full hoop skirt caught at the side with a huge bow showing illusion net ruffles. The finger tip veil of French illusion net caught withbraided satin was complementedwith a white Bible, orchids and ashower of staphanotis. Her only jewelry was a strand of pearls, gift of the bridegroom.Matron of honor was Mrs. Jay Druxman wore pink, Miss Liber-Miss Faye Liberman, sister of the groom ,maid of honor, and Jeanette Gold, bridesmaid. They woregowns similar to the bride and large French hats of net trimmed with flowers and streamers. Mrs. Druzman wore pink, Miss Liberman and Miss Gold were attired in blue.Don Sidel, fraternity brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Dr. Ross Fine, cousin of the bride, and Ken Sadick, another fraternity brother of the groom.Benny Jo Cohen, young brotherof the bride was junior usher.For the wedding, Mrs. Cohen, mother of the bride, selected anice blue formal dress and Mrs. Li-berman’s a formal gown of cerise crepe. Both wore orchid corsages. Reception was held for 250guests in the reception room ofthe Synagogue after the ceremony.Mrs. Liberman completed her junior year at USC and was affiliated with Alpha Epsilon Phi. She has been a resident of Coolidge most of her life. Mr. Diber-man is a graduate of the U. of Washington, a member of Sigma Alpha Mu and Pan Xenia, a foreign trade honorary. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Libermanof Seattle.Following a wedding trip tosouthern Ualitorma me coupie will live in Glendale, Ariz., where Mr. Liberman will enter the American Institute of Foreign Trade at Thunderbird Field. Mrs. Liberman will attend classes in languages.Out of town guests were, in addition to the groom’s family, Mr.Don Sidel of Seattle; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Klatzer, aunt and uncle of the bride, South Pasadena; Dr. and Mrs. Robert Cohen, another aunt and uncle; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bordan and Larry, Miss Arlene Simon, Miss Dorothy Coleman, Mrs. A1 Solomon and Howard Grossman, all of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Druxman, Mr. and Mrs.Klein, Las Cruces; Mr. and Mrs.A. J. Fine, aunt and uncle of thebride, Flagstaff; Mr. and Mrs. KenSadick, Miss Jeanette Gold, Harry Gold, Norman Saul, Dr. and Mrs. Stern, all of Phoenix; Mrs. B. M. Bendry, Brooklyn; Dr. Ross Fine, Madison, Wisconsin. In addition there were other friends from Phoenix, Nogales, Coolidge and Tucson.Saturday night prior to the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cohen feted the bridal party at a dinnerat the Pioneer Hotel, at whichtime the bride presented her attendants with beautiful sapphire bracelets and the groom his attendants with cuff links and studs.
