CLEAL-BERUBE WEDDING TUESDAYMr. and Mrs. Howard Cleal of Ransom, III., announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Lois M. Cleal, to Burton W. Berube, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Berube. The ceremony will be read by Father Gleason at the St. James church October 8 at 10 a.m.A reception will be held from 4 to 7 at Elks hall for their many friends and relatives. Mr. Richard O’Brien and Mrs. James Westcott (Ruth Berube) will stand up for the young couple. Mr. Berube and his bride will live on Chicago avenue following a week's wedding trip.Mrs. Leonard Steffen gave a miscellaneous shower for the bride-to-be Tuesday evening, September 24, and on Tuesday, October 1st, Mrs. Quinlan entertaned at a bridge party and shower for Miss Cleal at her home on Vine avenue. This evening (Thursday) a group of Mr. Berube’s friends are giving a stag party in his honor at Elks hall.
