MRS. STEVEN B. EALYDeborah Cordes And Steven Ealy Married Recently In San AntonioThe Shepherd King Lutheran Church in San Antonio was the scene for the wedding of Miss Deborah D. Cordes of San Antonio and Steven B. Ealy also of San Antonio. The couple exchanged vows at five o'clock in the afternoon. Saturday. September 21.The bride is daughter of Pastor and Mrs. Robert Cordes of Weimar, formerly of Mason.Mr. and Mrs. Jacques Ealy of San Antonio are parents of the groom.Officiants for the double ring ceremony were the bride’s father, Pastor Marvin Huth and Father Lewis Trawaiter both of San Antonio.The altar was enhanced oy two floral arrangements and a banner with a unity candle emblem and theme United In Christ” on it.Sisters of the bride were musicians. Leath Matocha of Victoria was organist. Naomi Doerr ofSanColorado Springs, flutist and Lael Pitts of Midland, pianist.Several songs were sung by the St. Pius X Catholic Church choir.Chris Kreger, nephew of the groom, was cross bearer and James Fox also the groom's nephew was acolyte.The bride chose for her wedding a gown first worn by her mother. The candlelight chiffon skirt was gathered onto a chantilly lace bodice trimmed with sequins and featuring a mandarin collar. A tulle headdress edged with lace and trimmed with sequins held her fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses.Debra Hanson of St. Paul, Minnesota was maid of honor.Bridcsmatrons were Mrs. Rebecca Guengerich, sister of the bride, of Houston, Mrs. Susan Starrett of Austin and Mrs. Janice Williamson of San Antonio.The groom’s sister, Theresa Ealy of San Antonio was bridesmaid.The attendants wore dresses of burgundy taffeta fashioned with sweetheart necklines, puffed sleeves and full skirts. Roses of matching fabric complemented the necklines and sleeves. Each attendant carried aHis nephew. Saun Ealy. of Antonio was ringbearer.Ushers were Joel Cordes, brother of the bride, of Austin and Paul Zaldivar of San Antonio.The reception was held at the Randolph Air Force Base Officers Club.Carol Thompson of San Antonio presided at the guest book.The bride graduated from Mason High School and attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and Texas Lutheran College at Seguin. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center. San Antonio.The groom graduated from Antonian High School and attended TLC. He received his degree with a major in English from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio.The couple is residing in San' Antonio. «Homemakers Club To Meet October 10The Mason Extension Homemakers Club will meet Thursday. October 10, at the North Side Center at 2 p.m.Glenna Friedrich, president of the Better Business Bureau of San Angelo will speak to the group on insurance for older persons.Discussed will be the kinds of insurance available, the kind needed, kind not needed and how to avoid a rip-off.Extension Agent Tedra Ullmer said this program, while planned for Americans on Medicare, will be of interest and help to everyone.All members are urged to attend and guests are invited.New Crafts Club To Meet Tuesdayrose.Mark Ealy of San Antonio served his brother as best man.Groomsmen were Robert Ealy of Cleveland, Tom Ealy of San Antonio, both brothers of the gorom, Howard Williamson and Kevin Kennedy both of San Antonio.Jennifer Ealy, niece of the groom.The Mason Crafter’s Guild will meet Tuesday, October 8, at Ramona’s Gallery of Arts.
