Ft. Wutehel and wedding music was playedby Mrs. F. Shaw.Given in marriage by her fa-‘her, the bride had chosen a gown of white embroidered net over ‘affeta in ballerina length, her veil of net illusion held to her head by a coronet. The grooms oft of a strand of pearls en-/ ire led her throat and she carried i bouquet of red roses in cascade effect.Miss Emilv Rabiey of Manning.as bridesmaid, appeared in a ballerina length gown of yellow chiffon over taffeta and carried a cascade bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums.As flower girl little Therese Harris wore a gown of pale bluenylon sheer and carried a basket of sweetheart roses.Steve Ciurysek acted as best man for his brother and usherswere Tom and Jack Scary of Berwyn.Following the ceremony, at a reception held in tin* basementhall of the church, tin' bride'smother received guests in an afternoon gown of blue embroidered faille with a large black hat and matching accessories. Pink roses formed her corsage.For her son's wedding Mrs. Ciurysek had chosen a gown ofbrown lace over taffeta. Her hat and gloves were in tangerine shade and her corsage was of white and red sweetheart roses.A turkey dinner was served at the reception.In addition to the groom's parents and members of the bridal party, out-of-town guests were' Mr. and Mrs. John Rabiey of Manning and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Nearv of Valleyview.Leaving on a honeymoon trip to Banff, Lake Louise and Radium Hot Springs, the bride changed to a blue suit with feathered hat and accessories in white. Pinned to her shoulder was a corsage of pink and white sweetheart roses.On their return Mr. and Mrs. Ciurysek will be making theirhome in Edmonton.* *Ihad as best man Ronald Timmis of Vancouver. ,The reception was held in the lounge of the officer's mess which was beautifully decorated wit aVgladioli. Padre While and Mr. Timmis proposed toasts to the newlyweds. Mr. Timmis also read telegrams from family and friends in Canada and Europe.Guests at the wedding included Canadians stationed with the air force in Europe and German friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ross of Toronto ami Miss Betty Ross of Montreal, who were touring Europe this summer, were also present.Prior to the wedding in the church, the couple were married in a civil ceremony held in th 1 town hall of the village of Soel-lingen. The burgomeister presided according to German law and Herr H. Dells acted as interpreter. Miss Rosel Kara of Rastatt. Germany and R. Timmis were witnesses.On their return from a wedding trip to Bavaria, northern Italy and the French Riviera. Mr. and Mrs. Wartnow will make their home in Baden-Baden. They plan to reside there for the next two vears while Mr. Wartnow continues his overseas teaching engagement on the staff of the RCAF dependents' high school.!Wartnow - FergusonOn Tuesday. August 5, the Protestant chapel at the RCAF station at Baden-Soell ingen. Germany, was the setting for the marriage of Mary Ferguson and Floyd Wartnow. The chaplain. Padre C. White, solemnized the double ring ceremony.The bride, daughter of Mrs. A. G. Ferguson of Peace River, was given in marriage by Bruce Neil-son of Madoc, Ontario. Her gown of white lace and net over satin had long 1 ily-point sleeves and panels of net that fell from neckline to hem. A coronet of seed pearls held her shoulder length veil in place. She carried a bou-quet of sweetheart roses and white carnations.The bridesmaid, Miss Betty Ross of Montreal, wore a gown of blue lace and also carried a bouquet of carnations and roses.The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Wartnow of Port Kells. B.C .
