Miss Gloria Beasley Weds Mr. FaulknerMarriage vows were exchanged between Miss Gloria Ann Beasley a n cl William Frederick Faulkner at 9 a.m.. Friday. Sept. 26. at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Lawson Beasley of Florence, formerly of Athens. Mr. and Mrs. William E. Faulkner of Rt. 3. Athens, are parents of the bridegroom.A center arrangement of yellow and white pompons In fan shape, and yellow tapers on silver candelabra on either end of the mantel, with a background | of Jackson vine, formed the improvised altar. The Rev. Lewis K. [Kelley, pastor of Highland Baptist church in Florence, heard the i vows.Larry Beasley, brother of the bride, lighted the candles.Mr. Beasley gave his daughter in marriage. She was dressed in la light blue shantung sheath with the belt forming a flat bow at the front waistline, three quarter length sleeves, and a low neckline in the back. She wore a j white feather hat and other accessories of black. Her bridal I bouquet was of white rose buds accented with tiny blue blossoms.Miss Marilyn Barr of Florence was maid of honor. She wore a beige orlon jersey sheath with matching accessories and a corsage of yellow carnations.Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Beasley entertained at a coffee., Mrs. Lewis Kelley served the yellow and white tiered bridal cake while Mrs Beasley presided at the silver coffee service. The table was draped with lace over pale yellow satin and was complemented with silver candelabra holding yellow tapers, and Jackson vine.When Mr. Faulkner and his bride left for a wedding trip to Miami. Fla., site was wearing a beige suit with brown accessories. Upon their return they will be at home on Monte Sano, near lluntsvilic, where Mr. Faulkner is employed at Chrysler Corporation.Mrs. Hastings Shares Birthday Dinner With Girlhood FriendsAn air of secrecy prevailed at the home of Mr. and Mrs Owen Hogan on South Houston street Tuesday night as they planned a surprise birthday dinner for her mother.
