Starling, Slingluff Rite Read\Miss Kathleen Ann Slingluff, daughter of Mrs. Shirley Lane Slingluff of Temple City and Kenneth Smith Slingluff of Pasadena, became the bride of Kenneth Harold Starling, son of Mrs. Jack Lawrence Fontaine of Woodbury Road and M. Sgt. Harold Starling of Ft. Riley, Kan., m First Baptist Church.The 2 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. William Goddard in the presence of 100 guests. The reception which followed also took place in the church.Mrs, Donald Myers was her cousin’s matron of honor, and Miss Kim Alane Slingluff, the bride’s sister,-was maid of honor. Another sister, Kitt Antoni Slingluff, was flower girl, and a brother, Keith Anthony Slingluff, was ring bearer.Alfred John Lane, the bride's grandfather, was best man. Ushers were Kenneth Alan Slingluff, the bride’s brother; Eric Lawson, and Ri-• chard Nelson,The newlyweds, both John Muir High School graduates, honeymooned in San Francisco and are living on South. Oak Knoll Avenue.The new Mrs. Starling is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred John Lana of Al-ladena and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith Slingluff Sr. of Pasadena,Her husband is the grandson of Mrs. Bert Albert Shirar of Montana Street and the late Mr. Shirar, and of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Starling of Rocky Mount, N.C.
