A Home Gathering.A delightful rome gathering was held at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Lowe, at Charlottesville, Indiana, Sunday, September 20th, to celebrate their forty-ninth wedding anniversary. What made the occasion more remarkable was that of such a large representation of the family being able to be present. The dinner table groaned under the weight of the delicious viands spread upon it. Fried chicken, vegetables galore, several kinds of cake, pastry, fruits in great profusion, greeted the eye and appealed to the appetite. The big doors of the drawingroom were thrown open and a table long enough to seat all was spread. It must be confessed all did ample justice to this bountiful repast. It was most beautiful and touching to observe the real gladness and joy that permeated the entire family. The following persons sat down to the table : Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Lowe, Roy and Goldie Lowe, of Charlottes-vile; Edgar and Jennie Lowe, Walter and Lizzie Hatfield, of Greenfield; Carey and Rama Keaton, of Max-wrell; Noble and Gertrude Rawlings, of Cleveland; Alexander and Florence Lowre, James and Scynthia Curry, Sanford and Bertha Furry, of Philadelphia, and Ora Lowe, a son at home. The grandchildren present were Florence and Genevieve Lowe, of Charlottesville; Willard Lowe and Claude Hatfield, Oliver and Nettie Dunham, of Greenfield; Lora and Orvil Keaton, of Maxwell; Earl and Nellie Keaton, of Eden; Hilda Rawlings, of Cleveland; Dorothy Lowe, Oral and Elizabeth Curry, Carl G. Furry, of Philadelphia. The great grandchildren present were Daisy Marie Keaton, of Eden, and Gurney Wialdo Dunham, of Greenfield. The afternoon was joyously spent in music and singing, after which all helped to consume five gallons of ice cream.
