An interesting feature of the joint county teachers' meeting hehl at Marion Friday and Saturday (not mentioned on the published program, however) was the marriage of four of the visiting pedagogues, one couple from Williamson countv and the other from Hardin county. Kev. B. F. Baker officiated at both weddings. At five o’clock Friday night he officiated at the marriage of Herman Armstrong, a teacher living near Car-terville. and Miss Mabel Wmoack. a| teacher living at New Burnside. At ? :30 the same night he performed the marriage ceremony in which Prof. W. E Hamilton and Miss Essie M. Pierson, both of Elizabethtown, were the contracting parties.
