Wells, both of this city, will be married on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Aspin, Col. Mies Schmid left for Colorado Monday ere and will visit two sisters, Mrs. Jas. Budge and Mrs. Engene Minenberg, who reside at Aspin. The happy event will take place at the home of Mrs. Badge. Mr. Wells left for Colorado two weeks ago with his brother, Ed. Wells. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Josh Wells, of this city. The young lady who will become his bride is the daughter of County Treasurer Adam D. Schmid. Tne announcement of the approaching marriage of the couple will prove a surprise to their numerous friends- It is the intention of the couple to remain in the west until spring, when they will probably return to this city. The young people are members of two old aud prominent families of Greenouunty aud their worth has broughtabout them innumerable friends.PATCH JSN—1IAYFORD.Nathan A. Patcheu of Albany, and Martha A. Hayford of Janesville, will be married at 3 p. 111., Thursday, Nov. 20, at the home of the bride. Rev. W. A. Hall of the Court Street M. E. church, Janesville, will officiate. The lady is well known and is au active worker in the W. R. C. Mr. Patch en owns a farm near Albany where he will take his bride.
