Singer-SmithValerie J. Singer became the bride of Scott A. Smith in a 2:30 p.m. double ring ceremony Oct. 3 at St. Mary's Romn Catholic ' 1 Church in Freeport, with the Rev. '•Dennis Sweeny officiating.The bride is the daughter of '* Mrs. Carol Singer and the late David W. Singer and is a 1989 graduate of Freeport Area Highf . School. She is employed as an operations secretary for Metplas,•Jnc.The bridegroom is the son of . Mr. and Mrs. James C. Smith and ^Js a 1986 graduate of Kittanning High School. He is employed as an auto technician for B.J.’s Service.The bride wore a candlelight gown and carried ivory orchids and ivory lilies with wine roses.The bride chose her sister, Cynthia Singer of Freeport, as her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Loree and Maureen Singer, both of Freeport, and both sisters of the bride.The bridegroom chose his friend, Greg Reed of Worthington, as his best man. The ushers wereValerie J. and Scott A- SmithJarrod John of Chicora, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Eric DeMeno of Sarver, cousin of the bride.Following a reception at the White Star Club and a wedding trip to Ocean City, Md., the couple is at home in South Buffalo Township.
