She is employed by Jax Roast Beef, Findlay.The bridegroom is a mechanic at the Bixel Motor Co. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Roberts, Columbus Grove.The Rev. Walter Gatton performed the ceremony. Robert Asel was the organist.Mrs. Dennis Debelak, Fostoria, was the matron of honor. Richard Wyss, Ada, was the best man. Brother of the bride, John Cooper Jr., and brother of the bridegroom, Doug Roberts, were ushers.The bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Orville Cooper, made the wedding cake. Areception for the couple was in the church’s fellowship hall, following the wedding.«VVan Atta-ThomasNow residing on Route 1, McComb are Mr. and Mrs. Vernon E. Van Atta Jr., who were married Nov. 15 at the College First Church of God.The Rev. Robert Bistline conducted the ceremony. Mrs. Wanda Gillespie was organist and Brad Shuck gave a vocal selectionA 1975 graduate of Findlay High School, the bride formerly Christine K. Thomas, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas, 1100 Sixth St.Van Atta, a laborer, is a 1971 graduate of McComb High School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Van Atta Sr., Route 1, McComb.Mrs. Brad Shuck was the matron of honor. The bridegroom’s brother, Jim, was the best man. Mark Thomas and Doug Van Atta were ushers.There was a reception in the church.
