PAGE 6 — Stale Center Enterprise — NOV. 28, 1974Miss Cathy Tigges and Jack Stewart Are WedMiss Cathy Louise Tigges, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Tigges of Melbourne, and Jack Edward Stewart, son of Supt. and Mrs. Edward Stewart of Lehigh, were united in marriage Saturday, Nov. 23 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Melbourne.The Rev. Curt Anderson, pastor, performed the 2 p.m. sendee. The church was decorated with baskets of white and yellow chrysanthemums. Vocal solist was Roger Landon, Rt. 3, Marshalltown, and Mrs. RexSpooner of Melbourne was nuptial organist.The bride was attired in a gown of polyester sheer and venise lace with lace trim at the high neckline and long sleeves. A wide lace band encircled the waist, and tiers of wide ruffles trimmed the skirt. Completing hercostume was a lace-trimmed floor-length veil. She carried a nosegay of Golden Wave roses, yellow sweetheart roses, baby’s breath, white daisy pompons andminiature pink carnations, with blue accents.Maid of honor was PamelaTigges, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Pat Maish of Ames and Marcia Pfantz of Des Moines. They wore polyester crepe 'gowns in shades of blue, and each carried a single Golden Wave rose with baby's breath.Greg Larsen of Ames served as best man, and groomsmen were Dan Smith and Brian Dalby, both of Ames and fraternity brothers of the bridegroom. Seating the guests were Shawn Anthony of Ames, and Greg Panzi and Gary King, both of Rt. 1, Webster City.A reception was held in the church fellowship rooms.Following a short wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Ames.The bride is a 1971graduate of West Marshall High School, and thebridegroom is a 1971graduate of Central Webster High School. They are both students at Iowa StateUniversity, Ames.
