Mr. and Mrs. Billy K. Wallis are the parents of the groom. Rev. Chester Roten officiated, with Charles Faulk providing the nuptial music and accompanied Miss Mary Fleenor as she sang “The Wedding Song.”The couple stood beneath a brass wedding arch decorated with bouquets of mixed pink flowers and flanked with six branched tree candelabras burning pink tapers and holding bouquests of light and hot pink carnations and pom pom mums. Two fifteen branched spiral candelabras with pink tapers and the same flowers completed the altar decorations. Four family pews held bouquets of pink tinted pom poms with leather fern and plumosa, with pink satin bows marking the remaining family pews.Given in marriage by her father, the bride walked to the altar in a gown of bridal satin under chantilly lace, fashioned with an empire waist, mandarin collar and full bishop sleeves. The cuffs were fastened with tiny satin covered buttons. Her elbow length veil was secured with a Dior satin bow. Her bouquet was of patty pink and bridal veil roses, laced with baby breath and springerii.Peggy Blair was her cousin’s maid of honor and was gowned in a hot pink crepe dress, designed with small stand- up collar, puffed sleeves and princess style. Small bows accented the princess lines and came to a belt and bow in the back. Her dior bow for her hair was of the same material. Her bouquet was a nosegay of pink carnations, accented patty pink roses, springerii and hot and shell pink shower ribbon.Julia Taylor and Connie Flippo were bridesmaids and wore gowns identically styled to the honor attendant except in light pink and hot pink respectively. They carried nosegay arrangements identical to the honor attendant. Paula Blair, cousin of the bride *was flower girl and dressed in light pink, with styling similar to the honor attendants. Steven Wallis, brother of the groom carried the rings on a white satin pillow.Don Trublood served as best man, with Kenneth Wallis and Billy John Wallis, cousins of the | groom, as groomsmen. Ushers i were Hulen Martin, Jr., cousin | of the groom and James Criner.| At the registry table in the j foyer of the church was Miss ; Sandra Colston. The table was 1 draped in pink satin under white | lace and was centered with anantique gold candleabra ' arrangement of pink carnations I and deeper pink pom pom imums. Miss Colston’s corsage I was of pink carnations.1 For her daughter’s wedding ! Mrs. Delk chose a hot pink princess coat and dress of silk acetate with dyed to match lace collar and sleeves. She wore 1 brown accessories and pinned a ; pink cymbidium orchid at her • shoulder. Mrs. Wallis chose a , polyester one -piece dress of hot i pink with belted waistline circle ! skirt and long straight sleeves.Her accessories were brown and she pinned a pink cybidium orchid at her shoulder.Mr. and Mrs. Delk honored the newlyweds with a reception in the church dining room following the ceremony. The beauty table was covered with white lace and centered with a epergne arrangement of pink roses, carnations and pom pom and on either side was the three, tiered wedding cake and silver punch service. Serving at the reception were Miss Debbie Fleenor, Miss Vickie Hilburn and Mrs. Ginger Allen, cousin of the bride. Their corsages were of pink carnations.For travel Mrs. Wallis chose a light pink polyester princess line dress with matching sleeveless coat and black accessories.
