ENGAGED=Mr. and Mrs. Vic tor A. Lomme, Sr., 34 Walnut street, today announced the engagement of their daughter, Alyce G. Lomme to Ronald R. Furbush, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Furbush, 36 Green street, Leominster. Miss Lomme is a graduate of St. Bernard's High School and is employed in the record room of the Leominster Hospital. Mr. Furbush, a grad uate of Leominster High School, has completed four years with the air force. He is currently employed as a ship per at E. I. Dupont de Nemours and Co, Inc., Leominster. Ag August wedding is planned. Marylynne Williams of Chicago, were the bridesmaids. The junior bridesmaid wore a dress of rust velveteen of princess style with bell sleeves while the other attend ants wore rust velveteen sheaths styled with empire waists and bell sleeves. All wore bow hats of rust satin and carried rust and yellow chrysanthemums. Mr. Rhoten served as best man for his son and the ushers were Peter Rhoten, brother of the bride groom; Robert Arthur and Barry Janson, all of Leominster; Peter Jelinek, Park Ridge; Bruce G. Falk of Buffalo, N.Y. and Merl L. Searcy of Chicago. The wedding breakfast was held following the ceremony in the Nineteenth Century Women’s Club. Mr. and Mrs. Rhoten will be at home after Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 1339 Thatcher avenue. Mrs. Rhoten attended the Uni versity of Ilinois, Urbana, and Rosary College, River Forrest, and is employed by Bramson's. Mr. Rhoten is a graduate of Dart mouth College, Hanover, N. H. and is employed by B. F. Good rich Co., Chicago. WESTMINSTER, Nov. 27.~Mis. Dorothy Ann Cunningham, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cun ningham of 190 High street, Gard ner was married to Stephen D. McKellick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett McKellick of North Com mon road yesterday morning in Holy Spirit Church, Gardner, Rev. John B. O'Connell, pastor, offici ated. The bride wore a gown of chan- tilly lace and net, fashioned with a Scalloped sabrina neckline, long lace sleeves, a fitted bodice and a bouffant full length skirt of net over satin. Her veil was a net crown of sequins and pearls and she carrried a colorful bouquet of white carnations. . Miss Carol Cunningham, a sister of the bride, was maid of honor.: ‘The Misses Alda Smith and Louise McKellick were bridesmaids. Tim othy LeBlanc was best man and the ushers were Michael Gajdukow and Ronald LeBlanc. Following the church ceremony, a reception was held at the Colon ial Hotel in Gardner. The couple left on a trip to New York City. They will reside at 8 Wright street in Gardner upon their return. The bride is a graduate of Gard ner High School and employed as a telephone operator by the New Eng land Tel. and Tel. Co. Her hus band, also as Gardner High grad: juste, is a woodworker at Thayer Co. An estimated 10 per cent of the population of the United States have chronic ailments that limit their activities. TO LIVE IN DETROIT—Dr. and Mrs. Denis Luz (Sarah Collura) were married Nov. 21 at St. Anthony's Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collura of 87 Nashua street and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Luz of Spain. A reception followed the church service at Orrins in Lunenburg. They will make their home at 432 Fernhill avenue, Detroit. Dr. Luz is presently at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Wayne Uni versity completing his residency in pathology. ~
