Stephen Johnson Chooses Karen Despain For BrideALPINE — Guests greeted newly-weds, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Johnson, Friday evening, Nov. 23, at a reception given at the home of the bride’s parents.The new bride, Karen, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Despain of Alpine. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnson of Lehi are the parents of the groom.The couple were married earlier in the evening by Presi-___ -I--dent Phil Jensen of American Fork.The bride received guests in a ■winter white gold circle print faille, with gold slippers to match. She wore a white orchid corsage.The maid of honor was Bonnie Kay Brown dressed in a green ballerina dress wearing a pink rose corsage.Mrs. Despain wore a green dress and Mrs. Johnson wore a navy blue dress. Their corsages were pink roses.A cousin, Brian Strasburg from Lehi, was best man.The guests were served by Dorothy Devey, Sandra Healey and Ida Young.Janet Blair and MarjorieHealey arranged the gifts and a ;sister, Joyele Elmer, was in \charge of the guest book.
