MALLARD, PALO ALTO COUNTY, *OW.Kathleen Mulroney Is Bride of Charles HughesifMiss , Kathleen Mulroney, daughter of Mrs. Peter M,ulroney of Mallard, and Charles A. Hughes son of M c. and Mrs. Bert Hughes of Emmetsburg, were united in marriage Monday morning, Nov. 24th, at nine o’clock at St. Mary’s church in Mallard. Rev, P. J. Illg officiated at the single ringceremony, followed by the nuptial mass. Rev. (J. C. Farrelly of Emmetsburg was in the sanctuary. White and yellow chrysanthemums adorned the altar. Tommy and Bobby Ruppert served as acolytes.The processional, Menddelsohn's Wedding March, was played by Mrs, A. W. Schuller, organist. She also played the recessional and accompanied the soloist, Miss Corrine Hellie of Spencer, friend of the bride, who sang Panis Angelieus,” “On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother” and “Do-mine Non Sum Dignus.’’Given in marriage by her brother, Gerald P. Mulroney of Des Moines, the bride was lovely in a gown of white brocaded satin, fashioned with a buBlle back, fitted waist, small rounded dollar, and train. She wore a tiara of seed pearls and tulle veil of fingertip length. Her shower bouquet was white roses and baby pompoms.Miss Kay White of Spencer, a friend of the bride, served as maid of honor and was drsed in a gold faille gown fashioned with abustle back and cap sleeves. She wore a i gloves. She carried a shower bouquet of bronze and whitechrysanthemums.Bob Hughes, of Chicago, attended his brother as best man. They wore tan suits-Gerald Foy, of Emmetsburg, uncle of the groom, and Wyman Steffen of Spencer, a friend of the couple, served as ushers.The bride’B mother was attired in a fuschia crepe dress with black accessories and the groom’s mother a black dress with green accessories.
