Miss Melba Marotti, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Marotti of 721 Cunningham avenue, and Vito F. Colella, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Colella, of 105 West Wabash ave nue, were united in marriage Thurs day morning at a quiet but im pressive ceremony, solemnized in St. Joseph's church. In the presence of a host of friends, Rev. Fr. Francis C. Streiff officiated at 9 o'clock using the double ring service. During the cere mony, appropriate nuptial music was played by the church organist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in a white gro gram taffeta dress, styled along old-fashioned lines, with full skirt and train. Her long veil, trimmed with net was caught in a sweetheart crown, and she carried an arm bouquet of white roses and a single orchid. Miss Olga Marotti as her sister’s maid of honor, was attired in a shell pink taffeta gown, trimmed with soldier blue velvet ribbon, and matching blue accessories and a bow of the same in her hair. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. Alfonso DeVivo served the bride groom as best man. Following the congratulatory pe riod at the church, a wedding din ner was served to the immediate families and close relatives at a suburban dining room on the New Wilmington road. Mr. and Mrs. Colella departed on a wedding trip to Pittsburgh and New York, and upon their return will reside on Cunningham avenue. Mrs. Colella, a graduate of the June '37 high school class, was em ployed at Smith’s Dry Cleaning company. Mr. Colella was graduated in January '37, from the local high school, and is proprietor of a gro cery store in Mahoningtown. Out-of-town guests included: Mr. and Mrs. Sam Colella, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Colella, and Mr. and Mrs. John Colella of Rochester, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Sam Leopardi, Ellwood City, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Pepicelli, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Toppo and Mrs. Al Lovinski of Meadville, Pa.
