PRETTY HOME WEDDING AT YOWELlt( Mr. William W. Harris and Miss Ruth Miller Married Last Wednesday,At three o’clock Wednesday after . noon the marriage of Mr. William W { Harris and Miss Ruth Miller conaum mated very happily an event that hai been anticipated with pleasure by tin , friends of both parties for sometime ' It was a pretty home wedding ant , the family home at VowelI, Texas was put in beautiful bridal attire few the auspicious occasion. The guesti were received by Mr. and Mrs. W. M Miller and were then Invited to tin, library where they registered in tfcu± !, bride’s guest book, over which Miss ! Callie Harris presided, after whict they were served to delicious fruil i punch by Mrs. Rosa Miller Whitten The guests then viewed the handsome presents of silver, mitglass, china and linen displayed on the tables in tiK library. The parlor was handsomely arranged for the service, vases oi chrysanthemums were tastefully arranged on the piano and tables.| Promptly at the appointed hour the familiar strains of Mendelsshon’s wedding march by Miss Grace Miller, [the bridal party entered. The only (attendants were the maid of honor, t Miss Gladys Miller, sister of the bride and the best man, Mr. G, Love, cousin ’of the groom. On reaching their places they were met by Rev. C. P. Combs of Dallas, who then united them in marriage, using the impressive ring ceremony, of the Methodist Episcopal church, after which they proceeded to the library where the bride cut the wedding cake to which they were served with hot chocolate and there those present gave their congratulations and good wishes.The bride, who is a beautiful girl, was even more so under the subdued radiance of mellow candle light. The bridal gown was of a rich white satin'and silk ehantilly lace. She carried a lovely bouquet of white carnations and bride’s roses. The groom wore the conventional black..The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wess Miller and is one' of the most charming and accomplished young ladies of this city, having attended the E. T. N. College, specializing in music under the iiistruc-tinos of Mae. Etta Rooth-Mayo. She has been prominent in church, school and social affairs and has many friends.The groom, whose home is Corsicana, was an honored graduate of the A. B. class of the E. T. N. College in 1913 and is at present a law student in the State University at Austin. He is esteemed for his ability and integrity and has made many friends while here in school.I Mr. and Mrs. Harris left on the south bound Midland for Ennis, Corsicana and other points. They wereaccompanied to the station by friendsand relatives where they received thecustomary send off'of rice, etc.Out of town guests were: Mrs.Rosa Miller whitten of Marlin, Texas, Rosa Miller Whitten of Marlin, Texas, oi Commerce, Miss Callie Harris, Mr. Robert Harris and Mr. C.
