JuliaChastainwedonMr. and Mrs. Kenneth Robert Price are on their honeymoon to an undisclosed destination following their wedding at 2 pm. Saturday in the United Methodist church of Woodland. Approximately 400 guests witnessed the double ring ceremony officiated by Rev. Robert H. Clark of the church. A buffet reception followed at the Woodland Elks temple.Lloyd Kiesz of Woodland was the organist.The bride is the former Julia Yvonne Chastain, daughter of Mrs„ Robert Clark and Charles Chastain of Knights Landing. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mraz of Woodland.Julie wore a bridal gown of Chantilly lace over bridal allure taffeta featuring a scalloped bateau neckline outlined with French pailettes. Her sleeves were long and tapered. The waistline flowed into a bouffant skirt with hemline highlighted with a hand-clipped scalloped edging of the Chantilly lace. The shoulder-length bridal veilSaturdayout by Patricia Holley of Knights Landing, Neva Nix of Robbins and Sandra Rummel of Woodland.The attendants were gowned alike in chartreuse floor length skirts with avocado green velvet bodices worn with matching veil and shoes.Their veils were held by a matching velvet headpiece and they carried bouquets of yellow carnations.Robert Stanghellini of Knights Landing was best man and ushers were the bride’s brother, Ron Chastain, Fred Broesch and Tony Rrvson, all of Knights Landing and John Stewart of Woodland.Stacy Bryson, 7. of Knights Landing and Pamela Cook, 8. of Stonevford were flower girls in short, white chiffon gowns tied with green velvet bows matching the bridesmaids’ dresses. The flower girls carried baskets of rose petals.Timothv Clark of Robbins, the bride'sof illusion was secured by a lace headpiece brother, was the ring bearer.accented with the pailettes.She carried a bouquet of whifp carnations.The bride’s treaditional .items were her grandmother’s wedding ring, her new hridal veil, a borrowed wedding dress and six pence and a blue garter.Sharon . alspaugh of Woodland was maid of honor. Bridesmaids duties were carriedMrs. Clark chose a pink ensemble with matching hat and shoes for her daughter's wedding. She wore a pink zinnia corsage.Mrs. Mraz selected a taffeta moss green gown accented with beige lace, and with it she wore matching green hat and shoes and a yellow zinnia corsage.A white seven-tiered cake decorated inlavender and purple and topped with Chantilly lace wedding bells was cut at the reception by the bride and bridegroom. Beverly Nix of Robbins attended the guest book.Harvey Brown and the Sidewinders played music for the reception. For her wedding trip the former Yolo county sugar queen changed into a two-piece powder hlup ensemble with matching accessories and pinned on a white zinna corsage.Julia graduated from Woodland high school in 1966 and while there was a member of GAA. She was the 1965 Homecoming queen. 1985 Yolo county sugar queen, a finalist in the’ 1965 Maid of California contest and in 1966 was talent winner in the Miss California contest.She is currently employed by the Yolo county department of agriculture. Mrs. Eula Nix is hpr grandmother.The bride made all the flowers for her wedding including the chrysanthemums decorating the altar at the church.The bridegroom is also employed at the YCPA and graduated from Woodland high school in 1956. He is a charter member of the Civil Air patrol and served three ^ars with the US Navv.i t.The newlv-weds will li\e at 506 Clover4street. Woodland.
