shoemaker—kckemrodu.A very pretty wedding took place at St. Arm’d Catholic church, Baltimore, I'hursday, November is, at H.dGa. m., the contracting p*tHi *sbeing Mr. Samuel Shoemaker, of Washington, and Mrs Carrie Eckenrode, daughter ol Mr and Mrs Kphriam Eckenrode, a well-known family, formerly of Frederick county.The ceremony was performed bv Hlt;?v. John Eckenrode, of Sacred Heart church, Washington, assisted bv ltev. Jonu Barry, of St, Agnes cburch, Catonsville. The bride wore white ehitfou with real lace and beaver hat trimmed witlipiunirs. and carrie 1 a large bouquet of white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid. Miss Agnes Eckenrode, wore white organdy with beaver hat and carried pinkchrysanthemums. Mr. Geo. Eckenrode, brother of the biide, was best man.The couple were tin* recipients of many handsome presents of reiver and cutg!a«s and hand-painted china.Mr. and Mm, Shoemaker will take a trio south and 00 their return will reside in Washington.
