Maresh, Jr., in a candlelight ceremony, Sunday afternoon, November 21, at 3:00 P.M., in the First Baptist Church of Rosebud. Parents of the couple are Mrs. ( handler Hargrove of Rosebud and Mrs. Willmond L. Maresh of Wilson.The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend .Jerry Johnson, pastor, before the altar decorated with arrangements of bronze chrysanthemums, palm greenery, and lighted moss-green candles. The candelabra stands and the pews weretrimmed with Talisman ribbon and bows and greenery.Nuptial music was furnished by Mrs. Doug Sonntag, organist, and Mrs. Darrel Kngle, soloist. Mrs. Engle’s selections were “If,” “Whither Thou Goest,” and “The Lord’s Prayer.’’(iiven in marriage by her mother, the bride chose a formal ivory Guiana gown. Ale neon lace on English net trimmed the yoke and empire bodice, high neckline, and long slim sleeves. The bodice flowed into a circular skirt with a sweep train. A pearl trimmed lace coif held the tiered lace-edged English illusion finger tip veil. Her jewelry was a gold locket, a gift of the groom. Herbouquet was a nosegay of fall flowers.Miss Frances Hargrove ofLouisville, Kentucky, washer sister's maid of honor.She wore a forest greenformal gown of polyesterinterlock, fashioned with a high rolled collar and an attached cape. It was centered with an arrangement of fall flowers around a gold candelabra. The fourtiered wedding cake in candlelight color was served from one end, and punch from a gold bowl from the other. Appointments were gold. The groom’s table was laid with a gold and beige cloth.
