Mr. and Mrs. Jerald SteeleIn a candlelight setting, Susan bride and Dale Skog, brother ofSkog, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. the bride. They also served asWendell Skog and Jerald Steele, eandlelighters. The men were allson of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Steele attired in black tuxedos with whitewere united in marriage at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church on November 13, 1971 at 7:00 p. m. Pastor Donald L. Anderson officiated at the double ring ceremony.Organ music was provided by Mrs. Gene McLaughlin. She accompanied the soloist Miss Linda Hines of Davenport as she sang ” Colour My World” and ’’The Lord’s Prayer.”The sanctuary was decorated with bronze and yellow chrysanthemums on the altar and yellow mums on the candelabra. Goldruffled shirts with black embroidery and black bow ties. The groom’s boutonniere was a Golden Wave rose and the others wore white mum boutonnieres.The mother of the bride wore a gold and gray knit dress and the groom1 s mother wore a green knit dress. Each wore a cymbidium orchid corsage.Host and hostesses at the reception which followed in the Fellowship Hall were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Steele of Des Moines, brother and sister-in-law of the groom and Mr. and Mrs. Davidand green bows decorated the pews.Harris, of Cedar Falls, cousins^ The bride, escorted by her fa- of the bride. Kathryn and Peg wore floor length gowns of gold crepe accented withPunch was dipped by Mrs. Ralph Helt of Patterson, friend of the bride and Linda Whitmer of SiouxCity, cousin of the groom. Pouring coffee were Mrs. Gary Die-mel of Lake City, cousin of the groom and Mrs. Don Johnson, aunt of the bride. The wedding cake was cut and served by Mrs. Clayton Whitmer of Galva, Mrs. Harold Whitmer of Sioux City,Mrs. William Johnson and Mrs. Harvey Skog, aunts of the bride and groom.Waitresses were Gail Johnson,brown and gold braid. They weremade identical to the bride’s dress.Miriam Aronson, Peg Skog, PatEach carried a large bronze mum Lackman, Karla Boettcher and with gold streamers. Melody Aron* Judy Shold.son, friend of the bride, was her personal attendant.Mr. Dennis Steele of Early, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Richard Mason of Early and Terry Leonard of Dyers ville. Ushers were Arnold Dahlstrom, cousin of theGift carriers were Debra Peterson, Sandy Skog, Tom Johnson and Dave Skog and were cared for by Mr, and Mrs. Howard Johnson of Mankato, Minnesota,After a short wedding trip to Denver, Colorado they are presently living in Early.
