marriage on Saturday, November 18 at St. John's Catholic Church, Tipton, with the Rev. Jerome C. .Walski officiatingat the double ring ceremony.Peau Designed GownThe bride- given in marriage by her father, carried a cascade of yellow roses surrounded by gold net, green leaves, and gold streamers. She was attired in a floor length gown of peau designed in an empire •bodice, scoop nekcline, arid point de'esprit sleeves. The skirt swept the floor in controlled. fullness. The entire g o w n was splashed with cut lace motifs centered with seed pearls. The Watteau train was attached at the neckline and closed with a center row of satin buttons. A satin bow secured by a double ring made of seed pearls, centered on a semicircle of lace motifs, finished the peau train. Her double silk illusion veil was held by a cluster of flowers fashioned in lace and organza set with seed pearls with a drop crystal of aurora borealis which hung in the center of her forehead.Maid of honor was Brenda Swoveland of Elkhart, a former college roomate of the bride. Other attendants wer Emily Sue Welches, sister of the bride and I.ois Lambert ' a cousin both of Tipton. Attendants wore identical floor length gowns of emerald green velvet fashioned with empire waists and aceent-lions and gold embroidery, scoop necklines, three-quarter sleeves, and A-line skirts. Each wore matching veils of emerald grce net and carried cascades of yellow and bronze mums with green leaves .and gold streamers.Best man was Charles Anderson of Elwood, brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Ronald Hughes and *1* li ill p Welches, the bride's brother, both from Tipton. The groom and his attendants were attired in black. The groom wore a yellow rose boutonniere and the groomsmen and the bride’s father wore yellow, carnations.Mother of the bride wore a two-piece dress of ivory brocade with burgundy accessories. The groom’s mother wore an aqua knit suit with black accessories. Each had a corsage fashioned of yellow carnations.%Organ music was contributed by Mrs. Eugene Yontz. “Ave West Street Christian Church. Blessed Mother” were sung by Mrs.. Yontz and Mrs. Charles Good, both sisters of the broom.Reception Followsreception was held at the The bride, who graduated from Bride’s -table was decorated with a crystal punch bowl and white candles in crystal candlesticks.
