G.doubt that the farmer really understands that he is the one with the least assistance. Farmers are the least represented in Washington. It is heart sickening to think of what will happen when we farmers have destroyed the soil. No one will eat enough except the rich. Speculation and big business will govern the price of food and clothes that are imported. The average man will work long hours for half enough food and clothes. The farmers problem is every ones problem. Farmers must preserve the soil. They must get 100 per cent of a fair price before they can protect their soil. jThere is no question as to Benson being religious. The question is: Is Benson a Christian that wants to preserve our soil that we will have food and clothes? Is Benson protecting the equality of man? Most well informed men say that Benson is the leader of those who would destroy the farmer.Keeton, 523 ,S.
