R.C.M.P. Wedding at Sydneyble Stanley James Gatchell of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and his bride are shown following their wedding in St. George's Anglican Church, Sydney, Nova Scotia, on August 28. The wedding was a very colorful one, with the bride and groom passing between a guard of honor formed by the groom’s comrades of the R.C. as thev left the church. The bride is the former Jessie Mae4/MacDonald, daughter of Mrs. George MacDonald and the late Mr. MacDonald of Sydney, N.S., dnd the groom is the son of Mrs. Cecil Gatchell and the late Mr. Gatchell of Bowmanville.
