Jr., Saturday afternoon at a candlelight ceremony performed al the Methodist Peace Temple. The Rex. Paul Albery, pastor of the St. Joaeph First Methodist church, officiated at the 4 p, m. service,The bride was given in marriage by her brother, George L. Tanke. The marriage vows were spoken before aji altar banked with baskets of chrysanthemums and candelabra, Mrs. John Gunn, soloist sang Because and The lord's Prayer. Warren Colby was the organist.White slpper satin fashioned the bride’s gown, which was designed with an overskirt of Chantilly lce and a full lot}g train. The bride also wore a pearl necklace, the gift of her bridegroom. Her shower bouquet was of white roses and gardenia*.Her sister, Miss Dolores Tanke, was the maid of honor, gowned in peacock blue taffeta. She carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids frocks were fashioned alike, or gold taffeta, ballerina length, with petal topped bodices and fitted jackets. All wort pompon headpieces and carried matching' bouquets. Miss Evelyn Phillips, a cousin of the bride, M1« Flea n or Riders and Mrs. Alvin Steinke were the bridesmaids. Miss Cathy Brubaker, a cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Gene Rose, as best man and John Monte, Jack Shambro and Basil McNLLL Ushers were Eugenis Tanke, and Fred Brubaker, Sr,A reception for 200 guests was given nt Tucker hall, which was decorated with streamers, wedding bells and ’mums.The couple will live at 167 Pipestone stTcet.
