There were present 14 guests and cards were the diversion of the evening. Featured in the refreshments was a clever cake, decorated with a labelled turkey all set for travelling.A second shower was held the following night, also at the home of the bride-elect. Mrs. Harold Taylor was hostess. Autumn leaves were used for interesting decorations and cards were played.
