Burgess to Mr. John B. Chenault, of Richmond, Ky., was quietly solemnised at the home of her parents at high noon Wednesd- y.Promptly at the hour named the bridal party entered the rooms to tho atrains of Lohengrin's wedding march, played by Mias Olivia Baldwin, of Richmond* The attendants were Mias Bailie Burgess, youngest eiater of the bride, and Mr. William Hume, a friend of the groom.The bride was handsomely gowned in Oxford grey, with hat to match, and carried a large boquet of white rosea. She ia a daughter of Mr. auti Mrs. JoshuaB. Burgees, of this city. Her lovable character and eweet disposition have endeared her to all who have been eo fortunate as to know her and her departure from Maysville is sincerely regretted by her wide circle of friends.Miss Sallie Burgees, her attendant, looked charming in a stylish coat suit. She carried Bridesmaid roses.The house was beautifully decoratedin palme, ferns and chrysanthemums, and in the library a great number of handsome presents testified to the love for and popularity of the happy couple.After the beautiful aud impressive ceremony which was performed by Rev. E. L. Powell, of Louisville, congratulations were showered upon the happy couple, and then all repaired to the dining room where a sumptuous three-ourse dinner was served. The bridal table was beautiful with its cutglaes and flowers.The newly wedded pair left on the 1:33C. aud O. tiain for a two weeks stay in New York, returning by way of Washington where they will spend a few days also.In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burgess, Mr. and Mrs. John Everett, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Asbury, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fillmore, Miss Christine Cromwell, of Cynthiana, and Miss Anne Burgess, of Ft. Worth, Texas.Those present from a distance wore: Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Chenanlt, Hr;, Mr. and Mra. T. D. Chenault, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Chenault, all of Richmond; Mii a Mollie McKrell and Miss Maudie Evans, of Ripley ; Mr. H. Fillmore, of Cincinnati, and Mr. aud Mrs. Nelson Gay, of Winchester.in
