Mendoza-Atkinson vows exchangedWedding vows were exchanged during civil ceremonies between Miss Maria Ana Mendoza, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teodoro Mendoza, and Dwayne Atkinson of Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, November 11 at 2 p.m. The ceremonies were performed by Justice of the Peace Eduardo Ierma at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Concepcion Montalvo.Arrangements of white gladiolas adorned the home for the occasion. The bridal table was covered with a lace tablecloth and centered with an arrangement of white gladiolas.The bride wore a gown of bridal satin with long puff sleeves and adorned with appliques of venise lace. Herfull length veil of illusion fell from a crown of pearlized orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of pink and whiteroses.Following the marriage ceremony a reception was held.Miss Linda Montalvo was in charge of the bride’s book.
